Is it lunch time yet?
I’m hungry! It must be close to lunch time.
On days when the wind is just right, we’re lucky enough to get a whiff of the most delicious, “award winning” ribs in San Diego…Phil’s BBQ.
WARNING…Read the following only if you like mouth watering, melts in your mouth, comes right off the bone, tender and juicy BBQ ribs. Phil’s is just a mile away from the hotel and if you’ve been to San Diego but have never eaten at Phils, I ask…WHY?! They’re 1) award winning (picture a bunch of men/women in suits and bibs sitting on a long table with piles and piles of plated ribs ready with their 1st, 2nd, 3rd place ribbons) 2) their portions are BIG and 3) they’re not that pricey (more than a burger at say McDonalds, but less than a filet mignon at say just about anywhere). The meat is high quality, the taste is mouth watering, and you’ll probably want to know if they sell a cologne with their scent. If you don’t want ribs (OKaaaay?), then have the BBQ Broham (pulled pork) sandwich. OH MAN! If you’re a vegetarian, but you enjoy the smell of some good ribs, they also have a garden veggie burger and some delicious side dishes. ENJOY!
